With its new cardiograph and system products and standards-based platforms, Philips is well positioned to respond to the increasing demands of the pharmaceutical clinical trial and research markets. Philips PageWriter cardiographs provide full digital ECG acquisition as well as storage and export in an XML format to meet FDA requirements. With their extensive configurability, PageWriter cardiographs allow individual patient demographic entry fields to be set up to meet the specific requirements of the clinical trial protocol. In addition to the standard modem transmission, selected PageWriter cardiographs can also support export of ECGs via LAN to meet today's more sophisticated system environments.
Recognizing the complexity and scope of large clinical trials, the Philips TraceMasterVue ECG management system has been designed to support over 1000 distinct sites, each of which can have specifically tailored protocols and demographic fields. The TraceMasterVue can collect and export ECGs in an XML format to support specific clinical trial requirements. Designed as a web-based system, the TraceMasterVue can receive ECGs not only via modem, but also via LAN. It can also allow secure access from low-cost clients via the internet, removing the need for more expensive proprietary reviewing stations. To support the further specialized analysis and reporting system solutions frequently used in the clinical trial and research environments, Philips uses standard SQL server database technology and a published XML ECG format schema.
Recognizing that large clinical trials are frequently international in scope, Philips also offers its worldwide presence to provide logistics options as well as support of the individual clinical trial site. We encourage you to contact us to review your specific requirements and our solutions. |
