2005 Guidelines Update AED Trainers Program

If you have an older FR2 AED Trainer 2 (shipped prior to October 2006), you can update it to comply with Guidelines 2005 by ordering an AED Trainer 2 Programming Kit (M3754A).  It comes with a software CD and a serial cable for connecting the AED Trainer 2 to the PC running the AED Trainer 2 Programming Kit CD.  Note that the latest PCs may not have a port compatible with the Programming Kit serial cable.  If that is the case for you, contact Laerdal Medical (www.laerdal.com).

FRx Trainers do not need to be updated for Guidelines 2005, as they have always been compliant. 

Installed HS1 Trainers are not upgradeable to Guidelines 2005.  We invite you to contact your local Philips Representative to discuss replacing your pre-Guidelines 2005 Trainers with a new Guidelines 2005-compliant Trainer. 

All comply with Guidelines 2005.  No action needed.
