Infant/Child AED Study

In order to learn more about pediatric cardiac arrest and automatic external defibrillator use, Philips is compiling a database of events using the HeartStart FR2-series,  HS1, or FRx defibrillators with infant/child pads.

If you have purchased the M3870A FR2 Infant/Child Reduced Energy, M5071A Infant/Child Smart Pads Cartridge, or 989803139311 Infant/Child Key, you are invited to participate in this data collection program.

If your organization uses  the Infant/Child Pads or Infant/Child Key on a child  - even if it turns out that the patient was not in cardiac arrest - we would like to collect information on that event.

In appreciation for your participation in this study, Philips will provide a new set of replacement Infant/Child Pads, free of charge, for every reported use of a Philips AED on a child (SMART Pads II in the case of FRx use on a child).

Please send us your data. You can collect and send us pertinent patient information and data from the AED via one of the HeartStart Event Review software products, or, alternatively, you can complete the data collection form below.
