Conclusions
  • Low signal within the large irregular lesion corresponds to central calcification seen on CT scan
  • Lesion represents a haemangioma with an unusually heavily calcified central scar
  • This lesion is well demonstrated on all scans with the differential uptake within and around the lesion being particularly well represented by the THRIVE dynamic scan
