- male, 35 years of age, weight 136 kg (300 lbs), height 191 cm (6 ft 3 in)
- with murmur present
- calcium channel blocker Rx
- no known family history of heart disease
- assess valvular function with CMR imaging

Normal LV, RV function. Systolic anterior motion of mitral valve. Basal septal hypertrophy consistent with HOCM. LVH. LA enlargement. Moderate MR.

Systolic anterior motion (SAM) of Tricuspid and Mitral valves is common finding by ECHO of IHSS pts. It is has not been demonstrated by CMR on many cases.

Some say HOCM and IHSS are basically explaining the same cardiac finding
